Carbon CD is the handy tool that is capable of backing up your music or data CD. The application allows you to create perfect 1: 1 copies or save your CDs to your computer. Carbon CD has a familiar interface similar to Clone CD, however, the biggest difference between the two is that the Carbon CD does not currently support DVD.
Carbon CD is quite functional, with a number of different tasks available to you. For example, you can use it to create a disk image from a CD, to burn a disk image to a CD to clone or create a 1: 1 copy of a CD. You can master CDs and disc images, extract songs from audio CDs, and erase CD-RW discs. You can also view information about your optical drive (CD player/recorder).

Carbon CD presents a clear and clear interface, with several large buttons to perform various tasks. The appearance can be changed with compatible skins, through the interface submenu of the main configuration menu.
In general, carbon CD is adequate in what it does. It has a simple interface, is very light and consumes virtually no system resources and is very easy to navigate and use. If you need to clone data and audio CDs, create and burn disk images and copy audio CDs, is it possible that Carbon CD is what you are looking for? The only drawback as far as we can see is that it does not support DVDs.
