Driver Identifier software is a relatively lightweight application that has been designed to quickly locate the most current drivers that are specific to your computer system, through an easy-to-use interface and access to an extensive database.
MAIN CHARACTERISTICS INCLUDE:
- The latest Windows 10, 8, 7, Vista and XP drivers.
- Access more than 27 million associated devices.
- Support for 32-bit and 64-bit architecture.
Driver Identifier does a good job of scanning obsolete drivers. The application will scan and then generate a report on out-of-date or missing drivers on your system. In addition, it also provides download links for drivers that need an update, along with details like the manufacturer and the version numbers of each entry.
Driver ID has a catch though. The service is based on a subscription; A fee is required to download updates. You can opt for a free account that gives you access to all one-day updates only, however.
In general, Driver Identifier is not a bad alternative for manually performing driver updates. You have access to a huge database, so it is quite safe to be able to get the driver you need for your system, whatever.
